Upcoming Jam Session at The Office Bar to happen a week earlier

Ever since its return to the monthly party scene in Jinja in July, the monthly Jam Session has consistently happened at their new home at The Office bar every first Saturday of the month. The growing numbers over the past two editions are proof that ‘nobody can stop reggae’; if you know you know.

From the organizers, The Jinja Musicians’ Club, the next edition of the Jam Session, which was supposed to happen on Saturday, September 7th, 2019, has been brought up a week earlier and will thus happen next Saturday, August 31st, 2019.

“We had anticipated jamming with our friends of Nyege Nyege in a pre-festival party but something came up and we paused,” said Thomas ‘Cowboy’ Madooba. “All the same, we cannot have an event on the same day the festival is running so we had to bring it earlier,” he added.

Unlike live band sessions where a choreographed performance is put up, the Jam Session is not limiting at all as anyone, and I mean anyone, can get up on stage and perform; the reason it was named ‘Jam Session’ so come next Saturday, head over to The Office Bar on Nile Crescent and jam with The Jinja Musicians’ Club.
