With the hunger for trendy party ideas high in Jinja, you cannot downplay the warm reception silent discos have gotten in the last couple of months. A week into the Africa Cup of Nations action, Pit Stop Lounge will host another silent disco at their Rugby Grounds home on Friday 28th June 2019; the third since the year began.

Dubbed Grand Groove, this edition will be a production of little-known Chap Chap and will feature new-edition headsets on 4 channels and 5 deejays including award-winner DJ Wicky, DJ Janja, DJ Ranxfire, DJ Chris and veteran spinner DJ Veeto all hyped by MC Nash and the MC duo of Ryan and Bosky Dollar.

“We are already selling early-bird tickets here (Pit Stop Lounge) at 15K while for those paying on the d-day, tickets will go for 20K,” said Pit Stop Lounge’s Hassan Kagere. “Our usual attractions of mouth-watering Nyama Choma and board games among others will all be available that day,” he added.

For those who haven’t attended a silent disco, the beauty of the affair is that there are four music channels, each with its genre of music and DJ. A person wearing a headset is at liberty to choose which channel to switch and listen to and also control the volume to their preference. Make a date next Friday and experience it yourself.
