Busoga Regional Khadi receives a brand new car from the Head of State

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has fulfilled his pledge of a car to the recently installed Busoga Regional Khadi, Sheik Mohammed Hussein Mbowa. Sheik Mbowa received a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and its related documents this afternoon at Okello House in Kampala.

President Museveni pledged the car early this year after Sheik Mbowa’s installation as the new Busoga Regional Khadi. Sheik Mbowa was installed on Saturday 15th June 2019 at a function that was graced by Mufti Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubajje flanked by his two deputies. He was replacing Sheik Asuman Muwanika.

The Presidential pledge was to be fulfilled later in June but was delayed until today Monday 4th November 2019, 5 months later. The delay, from reliable sources, was premised on the tensions around the pledge and who was to deliver the car. A meeting between the President and officials sat at Nakasero State House to discuss and conclude the matter.

We congratulate Sheik Mohammed Hussein Mbowa and the entire Busoga Muslim Community.
