As the FUFA Drum soccer tournament become the most crowd pulling game across regions of Uganda as well as attracting more sponsors, Busoga Province is continuing to shake. After winning one and drawing two of their first three group games, many thought that before the return leg the Tuli Nseete team would make enough homework to correct the wrongs done in the first round.
However, Busoga Province is proving otherwise as the self declared ‘home of football’ has failed to pick maximum points from their last two outings with Kampala Province putting them on the sword with a 1:0 win and a two all draw against Tooro last Sunday.
This put Busoga tied and fighting for the second place with Kampala Province and Rwenzori Province on 6points from five games with only Goal Difference separating them as Tooro Province is a point adrift the triplets and on the top of the group.
Busoga Province are facing a tricky Rwenzori Province in their last group game at home a venue they have only registered one win in their last three attempts. This must be a must-win for them if they are to reach the last eight of this year’s edition.
Kampala Province will be at home against the table leaders to complete the other fixture.
